FSSC Development Program

The FSSC Development Program is a certification program designed for small and medium-sized companies in the food sector that are in the process of strengthening their food safety management system. It offers a structured and progressive approach to eventually achieve full certification under FSSC 22000.

This program is especially useful because:

  • Allows organizations to develop and improve their management systems gradually, with technical support.
  • Provides an internationally recognized certification in two levels, making it possible to demonstrate a commitment to food safety from the early stages.
  • Is based on ISO 22000 principles and Prerequisite Programs (PRPs), adapted for accessible implementation.
  • Facilitates access to national and international markets, increasing confidence among customers and stakeholders.
  • Prepares companies for future FSSC 22000 certification, aligning with GFSI requirements.
  • Contributes to strengthening global food safety, especially in developing countries or sectors with limited access to advanced certifications.

LSQA supports organizations through every stage of the process, from the initial diagnosis to the final program assessment.
