This Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the LSQA website uses, for what purpose and how you can manage them.

1. Data controller The controller of data obtained through cookies is LSQA S.A. BIC, Av. Italia 6201, "Los Tilos" Building, 1st floor, ZIP 11500, Montevideo, Uruguay. LSQA has appointed a Data Protection Officer, Ignacio Pérez Crisafulli, who can be contacted at iperez@lsqanet.com.

2. What cookies are Cookies are small files that a website stores in the user's browser. This Policy also covers similar technologies, such as browser local storage (localStorage) and tracking pixels, which serve equivalent purposes. Some of the data obtained through these technologies may constitute personal data.

3. Types of cookies and purposes - Necessary: they enable the basic and secure operation of the site, such as protecting the certificate search against automated queries, limiting the number of daily queries and storing your cookie choice. They are essential to provide the requested service and do not require consent; if you block them in your browser, some features may stop working. - Analytics: they let us understand, in aggregate, how many people visit the site, which pages they view and how they arrive, so we can improve its content. - Marketing: they let us measure the effectiveness of our campaigns on Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn, know which campaign led to an inquiry and show LSQA advertising on those platforms. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional: they are only used if you accept them, and rejecting them does not affect your use of the site.

4. Cookies we use Necessary: - lsqa-consent (LSQA, local storage). Stores your cookie choice. Duration: 12 months. - lsqa_cert_search_count (LSQA, local storage). Counts daily certificate search queries. Resets every day. - _GRECAPTCHA (Google reCAPTCHA). Set on the certificate search page to protect it against automated queries and abuse. Duration: 6 months.

Analytics: - _ga, _ga_KVHL4LRDXB (Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager). Distinguish users and sessions for statistical purposes. Duration: 2 years.

Marketing: - lsqa_tracking (LSQA, local storage). When you arrive from a campaign, it stores that campaign's parameters and the Google Ads click identifier, to link them to any inquiry you send through the contact form. If you send an inquiry, this data is stored with it in Firebase (Google), where LSQA receives and stores inquiries from the site, and in Mailchimp, the platform it uses to manage its contacts. Duration in the browser: until you withdraw consent or clear your browser data. - _fbp, _fbc (Meta Pixel). Measure visits and conversions from Facebook and Instagram campaigns. Duration: 3 months. - li_fat_id (LinkedIn Insight Tag), plus bcookie, lidc and UserMatchHistory set by LinkedIn on its own domain. Measure visits and conversions from LinkedIn campaigns. Duration: from 1 day to 1 year. - _gcl_au (Google Ads, via Google Tag Manager). Measures conversions from Google campaigns. Duration: 3 months.

Third-party content: - The home page includes a YouTube video in privacy-enhanced mode, which sets no cookies when the page loads. If you play the video, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies under its policy.

5. Consent On your first visit, the site shows a notice where you can accept all cookies, reject optional ones or choose by category. Analytics and marketing cookies, and the services that set them, are not activated until you accept them.

6. How to manage or withdraw consent You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" button at the end of this page and in the site footer. When you withdraw consent, first-party cookies in that category are deleted and the related services stop running. Cookies that third parties set on their own domains must be deleted from your browser settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

7. Recipients and international transfers Campaign data linked to an inquiry is stored in Firebase, a Google LLC service, and in Mailchimp, an Intuit Inc. service; these providers serve LSQA from servers that may be located outside Uruguay, including the United States. Other than that, data obtained through first-party cookies is not disclosed to third parties. Third-party cookies involve data processing by Google LLC (reCAPTCHA, YouTube and, if you accept it, Google Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads), Meta Platforms, Inc. and LinkedIn Corporation, which may take place on servers located outside Uruguay, including the United States. 8. Your rights You may exercise, free of charge, your rights of access, rectification, updating, inclusion and deletion under Uruguayan Law No. 18.331 and, where applicable under other laws, your rights of objection, restriction and portability. To do so, write to info@lsqa.com, call (+598) 2600 0165 or visit Av. Italia 6201, "Los Tilos" Building, 1st floor, Montevideo. If you believe your rights have not been addressed, you may file a complaint with Uruguay's Personal Data Regulatory and Control Unit (URCDP).

9. Applicable law LSQA will process data obtained through cookies in accordance with Uruguayan Law No. 18.331 and its regulations (Decree 414/009), as well as the URCDP's guidance on the matter. Where applicable due to the user's place of residence or the scope of the service, provisions of other data protection laws may apply (for example, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – GDPR).

10. Changes to this Policy LSQA may update this Policy if it adds or removes cookies. The current version will be available on the site with its last updated date. Where a change affects cookies that require consent, consent will be requested again.
