LSQA’s Zero Waste Program helps organizationsmanage their waste more effectively by prioritizing reduction, reuse, and recycling, and minimizing what goes to landfill. It applies to organizations of any size and sector.
LSQA assesses how waste is generated, segregated, recovered, and disposed of, and calculates a Residual Circularity Index (RCI).
Based on the RCI and good practices, seals are awarded: Commitment, Bronze, Silver, or Gold. The seal is valid for 1 year and must be renewed by demonstrating improvements and updated records.
